The Wisdom Tradition
The contemplative practices I share spring from the Wisdom Tradition.
This timeless tradition affirms our innate capacity for directly sensing and realizing our unity with the Origin and Source of all being and perceiving from within this unity. Knowing from within this relational field is what is meant by “Wisdom.”
Wisdom has found expression in many different sacred traditions through the ages and is perhaps most visible in the way these traditions coincide. Wisdom, which is sometimes referred to as Mystical Wisdom or Living Wisdom, isn’t confined to any one spiritual or religious lineage; for example, I’ve been informed by the revelation of Wisdom in the teachings of Christian Mysticism, Sufism, Vajrayana and Zen Buddhism, and shamanism.
The relevance of the Wisdom path in our world today is that, in conscious divine-human interabiding and exchange, our conscience, action and influence can be Spirit-informed. Our presence, personally and collectively, can disclose the Presence of Spirit.
Infused and moved by mercy and grace, we can materialize love ~ we can restore connection, heal, and co-create with the benevolence and intelligence of life itself.
